Every gift keeps a player in the pool
Water polo should not be a sport only some families can afford. Donations are a big part of how Bend Waves keeps it within reach here in Central Oregon: gifts help pay for pool time at the Juniper Swim & Fitness Center, hold season fees as low as we can, and fund the Louisa Joy Cornish Scholarship for athletes who need help with cost.
Bend Waves is a volunteer-run club — our coaches, board members and parents all give their time. When you give, your gift goes to the club, its programs and its scholarship fund.
Bend Waves Water Polo Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and donors receive a gift receipt for tax purposes.

The Louisa Joy Cornish Scholarship
Many gifts to Bend Waves support the Louisa Joy Cornish Scholarship, named for a cherished member of our water polo family. The scholarship offers financial assistance to Bend Waves athletes who need it — because any player who wants to play should be able to, regardless of the ability to pay.
